The political churning is alive and well as the GOP contenders begin to arise. Although the list is not complete, the core group has begun to form, and each week seems to see the ebb and flow of contenders either leaving or joining the race.

One of the main problems our country faces today is a leadership deficiency in Washington D.C., and the main leadership deficiency is the one in the White House. We here in Georgia are proud to have two exceptional candidates who can fix that problem as the next President of the United States.(and no I promise they are nothing like Jimmy Carter) Georgia being the reddest state in the country it is no surprise that these two candidates reflect what a true conservative republican candidate should be. Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich are two men that are proven leaders with TRUE conservative values. Both are Christian men who openly express their strong faith in God. When it comes to economics and fiscal responsibility these two blow the other candidates out of the water, and when it comes to defense and social issues no candidate has better “common sense” solutions than Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich. In 2012 we as republicans have a huge decision to make in who we choose as our candidate to defeat Barak Obama. Right now the majority of us remain undecided but we soon need to get behind a candidate so we can win in 2012. I believe either of these men can not only be a great President who we can be proud of but they can ensure Obama is a one term President. I am going to give the true background on Herman and Newt that shows who they really are and where they came from without the liberal spin.

Herman Cain
Do you hate career politicians but can not seem to find a candidate who has real solutions and can make real change in Washington? Well Herman Cain is your man. Herman Cain is the only candidate in the race that could open a snow cone stand in Minnesota during December and make a profit. Contrary to the media’s perception Mr. Cain is not just a radio talk show host and to label him at only that is a disgrace. Herman Cain is as qualified as any candidate in the race and in my opinion the most qualified. No other candidate has been as successful in the private sector as he has been throughout his career. We need more politicians like Herman Cain, that can turn our economy around and make it flourish just as he did with every business and corporation he was involved with. Newt Gingrich
Newt Gingrich is best known for his accomplishments in the US House of Representatives where he served GA-9 for twenty years and Speaker of the House for four years. He has been dubbed the “Architect” for his constructing of the “Contract with America” in 1994 which led to republicans gaining majority in the house for the first time in forty years. Under Newt’s leadership, Congress passed the first balanced budget in a generation, leading to the repayment of over $400 billion in debt. Congress also cut taxes for the first time in sixteen years and reformed welfare, leading to over sixty percent of welfare recipients either getting a job or going to school. In addition, the Congress restored funding to strengthen our defense and intelligence capabilities, an action later lauded by the bipartisan 9/11 Commission. There is no denying that Newt is an exceptional leader. In 1995 Time magazine named him man of the year in saying “Leaders make things possible. Exceptional leaders make them inevitable. Newt Gingrich belongs in the category of the exceptional.” Newt Gingrich is a candidate that has all traits needed to be a great leader of the free world and he has a plan that can fix the problems our country faces from top to bottom.
