American Exceptionalism

The American drive is an idea put in place by God in which men and women live out a concept, many times unaware of the second nature that it has become. For many, this idea is simply a way of life. Whether living on the flat plains of Texas, near the rolling hills of Tennessee, beneath the tall pines of Georgia, or atop the Rockies of Colorado, the American idea of freedom, simplicity, family values, and honoring God span across the nation in the hearts of many.

The secular humanism that has slithered its way into our educational systems, government, and way of life, attempt to undermine America’s purpose. As a beacon of light, she stands on a hill, not to be covered up by excusing her exceptionalism. America is exceptional because America is great. America will cease to portray greatness when she undermines her purpose. Her lands are not a welfare state that promises government providence for all. Instead, her motto speaks to men and women to rise up, realize their uniquely designed purpose, and live out their callings. As a result, boldness, courage, and innovate solutions will birth great things into reality.

In closing, remember these beautiful words penned by Irving Berlin:

God bless America,

Land that I love.

Stand beside her, and guide her

Thru the night with a light from above.

From the mountains, to the prairies,

To the oceans, white with foam
