Debt Debate Determination

The debt debate has reached its finale with Speaker Boehner hitting the House's home-run into left field. Now, with discussions in the Senate, will the left continue its rhetorical platitudes? President Obama has given continued speeches with no plan, while Senate Majority Leader Reid provides funny math to make it look like tax breaks.

The President needs to provide executive leadership and not more complaining. Leadership will stop blank checks, placing a limit on spending and not increasing taxes in an economy that needs job creation.

The Majority Leader as well as the President need to realize that people's money is their own, not for the government to manipulate and distribute by the government. Instead, individuals have the right to determine how to use their money. Americans are known for being a country of citizens who look to help those in need--both in this country and internationally.

We are at a point where financial viability requires control on the bureaucratic apparatus and putting a stop to the constant spending that took place during President Bush's corporate bailouts and has grown exponentially in President Obama's administration.

Recently, Peggy Noonan wrote the article, "They've Lost the Lovin' Feeling" that exposes the lack in Mr. Obama's current executive leadership necessary to aid in getting out of debt:

Americans have awakened and want to see responsibility, stability, and leadership rise to the occasion. Some of these decisions will prove difficult, but necessary for the United States to succeed.
